Connect your exchange safely
KLINEO never asks for withdrawal permissions, seed phrases, or your exchange account password.
Use only exchange API credentials
Create API credentials in the official API management page of your exchange. Connect using the API key and API secret, not your exchange account login details.
- Read access is used to display account balances, orders, and positions.
- Enable spot or futures trading permissions only for the features you intend to use.
- Keep withdrawal permissions disabled. Your exchange funds stay in your own exchange account.
Check venue-specific credentials
Some supported exchanges use additional API credentials. These are separate from the password you use to sign in to your exchange.
- BloFin requires the API passphrase you created for that API key.
- Hyperliquid uses your account wallet address and an approved API wallet key. Never enter a seed phrase or your primary wallet private key.
Keep control of your connection
Review permission scope before connecting, use available IP restrictions, and revoke the API key at your exchange when you no longer need it. Read the risk disclosure before enabling live trading.
